Client Awarded £10,000 After Road Accident with Disputed Liability

Published: 27th June 2024

Our client had been out drinking. He has no recollection of his accident. The evidence obtained was that our client was crossing a road when he was struck by the defendant’s vehicle. The defendant initially disputed liability. We located some CCTV footage, which shows that the defendant was driving at a speed inappropriate for the road conditions.

After negotiations, liability was agreed upon on a 50/50 basis. Our client suffered a tibia plateau fracture and several lacerations. Our client was awarded £10,000 in damages.
